Areas of Application:
Flat and circular knitting, large and narrow weaving, braiding, twisting, trimming and embroidery
Supporting the metallic tape increases its tensile strength significantly compared to the unsopported M-Type. MX is widely used in nearly all textile processing techniques.
Construction
Construction Scetch:
Metallised polyester film supported with 2 x 20 den polyamide monofilament. Available in thicknesses of 12 mic in all colours and 30 mic in iridescent. The standard widths used to be 0.25 and 0.37mm but we carry the 1/127" (are 0.20mm) as well. Further widths are available upon request.

Dyeability:
With the exception of the colours transparent and iridescent, the metallic yarn usde to make the MX-Type is not guarantied to withstand a piece dyeing process.

Areas of Application
Embroidery, knitting, weaving and braiding
This is an especially reinforced metallic yarn which has been finished to render a much higher tensile strength more customary for use in embroidery than in weaving.

Dyeability:

Areas of Application:
Weaving, knitting, twisting and trim manufacture
This reinforced yarn can be used for all products which will be piece dyed and for those requiring exceptional stability. An extremely thin layer of aluminium foil is laminated on both sides with a dyed polyester film resulting in this material being somewhat rigid/stiff.

Due to its construction, M-A-MX is resistant to piece dyeing.

Areas of Application:
Knitting, twisting and weaving
Contray to most other metallic yarn the transparent or silver metallised NX yarn is made of 100% Polyamide. I is mostly used to be Polyamide piece dyed to achieve a subtle tone-in-tone sheen. Due to the 2 x 20 monifil PA support the tape yarn is reinforced considerably and is especially suitable for use in weaving and knitting

Dyeability:
NX can be dyed using the polyamide dye process (acid dye) NX is also resistant to cationic dyeing.

Areas of Application:
Knitting, weaving, production of effect yarn
MX-FR is the first metallic yarn that has a flame retardant property. This product category becomes possible within product ranges targeted at contract business like hotels, theatres, airports etc. MX-FR is a particularly important innovation from Fuesers Garne. Corneta M-FR is available in transparent and silver metallised. The tape is supported by a flame retardant Polyester monofilament.
